CONVEYOR RECONDITIONING - A BRIEF INDICATION OF WORK CARRIED OUT.

2nd hand conveyor just purchased prior to reconditioning.

All drums and rollers checked for concentricity and general wear. Pic shows refurbished drum being fitted with belt lagging for improved drive.

All bearings, chains etc are checked and replaced if necessary. Pic shows recon idler drum being fitted with new flange bearings.

All hydraulic rams are stripped down and checked. Rods are rechromed if necessary and new seals fitted. Pipes are checked for wear and replaced if required. Pic shows typical reconditioned ram with new seals being fitted.

New belts supplied and fitted. Pic shows a low profile belt fastener being fitted to a new 2ply PVC belt.

All motor/gearboxes stripped down, tested and repainted. Motors rewound or replaced if necessary. Pic shows the motor windings being tested prior to re-assembly to the gearbox.

Swivel braked castors on mobile equipment checked for wear/damage and replaced if necessary. Pic shows the complete replacement for a braked type unit.

Conveyors are sent out with either a 6 or 12 month warranty dependant on level of refurbishment required/requested from the customer. Pic shows a mobile telescopic boom conveyor (van loader) prior to shrinkwrapping and despatch with all safety notices on display.
